A fairly common problem affecting many Tesla Model 3 owners concerns AC home charging via a wallbox. The Tesla Model 3, connected to a home wallbox, may not charge. The standard home setup is the weakest link, but it's also the simplest and most cost-effective charging system. While other charging methods may still work, your home wallbox can present some difficulties. The safest solution is to compare the home wallbox's setup with that of another AC charger and simplify the car's charging settings. If the car charges at another AC charger, the problem may be with the wallbox or, at least, your home environment. There are many reasons why a home AC wallbox won't charge, starting with an inefficient electrical system or a meter that can't handle the required power. It's best to reduce the wallbox's power setting to the lowest setting and see if charging begins. Once you've confirmed that your meter and electrical system are free, it's a good idea to focus on the connector: is the wallbox plug properly inserted? Also check out the cable: if you need one, Voldt Tesla Model 3 compatible charging cable is an excellent, safe, and reliable alternative. Finally, it's recommended to disable scheduled charging settings, both from the car's system and the app, as well as from the wallbox. A test charge on a home wallbox without schedule activation may yield positive results. If this works, you'll need to wait for a new software update to be able to set the charging timer again.
