Simply put, the idea is that, for example, the same wallbox might be a great option for charging one car, but it might not work perfectly for charging another. An example is BMW i4, which sometimes exhibits particular sensitivity to certain wallboxes. Some owners report a specific sensitivity of the BMW i4 even when other electric vehicles charge normally with the same configuration. The safest solution is to compare the car's behavior with different chargers and installations before assuming a single cause. This essentially results in slower BMW i4 charging or intermittent charging, and sometimes it's necessary to change charging stations. In these cases, there are no definitive solutions: the ideal is to try to understand which elements are common to the most difficult charging situations: the wallbox brand, the type of current, the location, the brand managing the energy supply, the climate, the temperature, the charging settings in the car's system and smartphone app, the charging profiles entered, the charging methods, and the vehicle. Once all these parameters are noted, it will be possible to perform a more comprehensive assessment, perhaps avoiding charging at the stations that cause the most problems.
