Tesla charging schedule and wallbox schedule conflict
Scheduling your car's charging is very convenient. You get home in the evening and schedule your charging, taking advantage of the lowest electricity prices. With Tesla, you have several scheduling options, choosing whether to schedule charging directly from the car's system with the dedicated app or manage everything from the wallbox. In fact, the wallbox also offers the option of scheduling charging. It might seem perfect, clear, and perfectly functional, but that's not always the case. There's a significant risk: the two charging scheduling systems can conflict at the software level, preventing the vehicle from fully charging. The solution to this problem is very simple: disable one schedule (for example, the one on the wallbox) and manage the "delayed start" only from the Tesla app. Since the cause of the problem is a software conflict, it's necessary to simplify the procedure. By deleting each timer from one system and avoiding using it, you leave control solely to the other. If you have an updated application, we recommend controlling scheduled charging only from your smartphone via Tesla App.
