Tesla charge-port button does not open the charge port
As in many other cases, including those involving other brands, Tesla has a problem where pressing the button on the flap protecting the car's charging port doesn't open and stays closed. The Tesla charging cable is impossible to remove from its connection socket. This prevents the plug from being connected, making charging impossible. The solution to this problem is simple. You can unlock the car electronically and try again if the flap opens manually. Otherwise, some Teslas have an electronic unlocking system from the inside, operated via the touchscreen. Once the flap is open, check for debris, dust, or leaves that are restricting movement. If so, a light blast of compressed air is sufficient to clear everything (wear protective glasses during this procedure).
