BMW looks like it stopped charging, but may still be charging
Everyone who owns an electric car expects efficient charging and reliable information about the charging status. Is the car fully charged? What percentage of charge are the batteries at? How long until the charging cycle is complete? The lights help, but they aren't sufficient indicators. In fact, some BMW owners complain about misleading lights. The charger light changes color and appears to indicate that charging is complete, but the reality could be different. The light may change color from red to green, but charging may not be complete and still in progress. Conversely, the opposite can also happen: the light indicates an interrupted charge, but in reality the session has already ended. The charger light doesn't clearly indicate the BMW's charge status. It's clear that the problem makes the car owner feel unsure, and that's not a good feeling. There aren't many options. The safest solution is to check the charge status via the app or on the car's display before considering interrupting the charging session. In these cases, viewing the precise data from your smartphone or the vehicle's system is more reliable than the warning light. From what we understand, the BMW chargingcable is not responsible for the problem.
