Tesla charging problems are intermittent and hard to reproduce

A problem occurs while you're charging your Tesla, but everything works fine the next time. Then the problem (perhaps different from the previous one) occurs again and then immediately disappears. How do you describe these occasional events, which are difficult to explain to Service? The causes are difficult to identify and counterintuitive. Occasional charging problems can usually arise when using poor-quality chargers and cables. In most cases, this is the primary cause. Similarly, the use of extension cords and power strips for home charging is also discouraged to avoid charging problems. Check your Tesla charging cable. Occasional power related problems can occur: for example, it's quite common to experience charging at a fast charging station, for example at 44 kW, with the energy entering significantly less than the maximum possible. This scenario is rare as it doesn't always happen consistently. In this case, the cause could be some limitations set in the settings options. These occasional charging problems, in more complex cases, shouldn't be considered total failures, but "simply" problems that appear and disappear without ever being able to recreate the same event to better understand the situation. The safest solution is to document the exact conditions of each failure to more clearly identify the variables that may need to be reported to service. The important thing in these cases is not to generalize, but to consider each charging as a unique event, separated from a chronology that, most likely, would not be consistent over time.
