Tesla charging problem seems like a car fault, but is actually a charging station issue
When your Tesla experiences a charging problem, it's difficult to determine whether the charger (or wallbox) is the cause or the car's charging system. Many people immediately assume the main problem is the car, but that's not always the case. Before contacting support, it's helpful to run a few tests to gain a better understanding. The first thing to do is test charging with a different charger, perhaps switching stations or choosing a fast charger to see how the car handles it. Testing with a home charger might also provide some good information, as might choosing a public charging station. If everything works properly, the problem lies with the first charger used, the one that had the problem. If, however, charging has also been problematic with other chargers, the cause most likely lies with the car. In the latter case, the problem can be resolved by updating the vehicle's software. While in the first case the charger for Teslawill probably need to be replaced.
